Prayer Ministries

We believe in prayer driven and prayer directed ministries.  To facilitate prayer that drives and directs our ministries we have a number of prayer initiatives.

Ministry Prayer Teams: 

Our prayer ministry coordinates prayer teams that are committed to supporting each of our pastors and key ministries in prayer.  These prayer teams get regular updates on those ministries, and are commited to praying daily for the pastor leading that work and the ministries themselves. 

Women’s Prayer Chain:

We have a very active women’s prayer chain that is an immediate response prayer team.  Most of the members of this prayer team recieve prayer requests via e-mail, and few via telephone.  This is a confidential prayer chain that responds quickly to urgent prayer requests from our church and community.

Worship Service Prayer Team:

At Emmanuel we have two special prayer teams that are invovled on Sunday mornings.  One team is responsible to pray during our services for those involved in the worship service and for all attending.  This prayer covering is an important part of our Sunday ministry. 

The second Sunday Worship Prayer Team is made up of key people who make themselves available at the front of our church after each service.  They are there to pray with any who would like prayer for a special need, or would like something to talk with.
