WHAT ARE “LIFE GROUPS” AT EMMANUEL? Life Groups are groups of approximately 8-12 adults that meet in homes throughout the week where we help one another move towards Christ by connecting in relationships with one another,  learning from God’s word,  and seeking to  serve the needs in the church and our community.

WHY LIFE GROUPS? Because in the midst of our busy lives we need to slow down so that we can connect with other people,  hear and learn from God, and serve others. We grow best in the context of godly relationships. Why not join a faith community that will help connect us to our life giving source, Jesus Christ!

HOW CAN YOU JOIN A LIFE GROUP?

1. Leave your name and number at our church office, at our information center in our church lobby, or on one of our “In Touch” cards on a Sunday morning.

2.. Contact me directly via email at:  myra.gerbrandt@eefc.ca

LIFE GROUP COMMUNION GUIDE: Communion is something Jesus asked His followers to do regularly in remembrance of Him.  Small Groups can be one of the places we can enjoy communion in a setting other than the Sunday morning service.  Click here to find a small group communion guide: Communion for Smaller Groups

QUOTE: Why have small groups? So the church can once again become an irresistible Christian community where a person can: love and be loved, know and be known, serve and be served, and celebrate and be celebrated.” ( Rick Diefenderfer)
