Outreach
The community of Steinbach is important to us. Each individual has worth to God and to us as a church. Our desire is to serve the citizens of our city and we do so in a variety of ways and with a variety of means. Our desire is to be the church where we live, work and play. Some of the things we do include:
- Providing resources and benevolent care to the unemployed and underemployed
- Supporting ministries to the homeless
- Initiating and helping to organize Pick-up and Walk Steinbach’s annual Pick-Up and Walk clean up campaign
- Providing a MOPS (Mothers or pre-schoolers) group which meets Tuesday mornings
- Overseeing Steinbach Christian Pre-School for the families of our community
- Providing AWANA kids clubs on Wednesday evenings
We also have an Outreach Team that exists to reach out to people who have no church or do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. Our team exists to share the love of God with them. Parishioners wishing more information about the team can contact Pastor David at david.rafeedie@eefc.ca.
