Volunteers can serve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Men’s Ministry:
Equips men to take on their God-given responsibility in their home, church, and community by mentoring them into a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. We do this through inclusive environments like Momentum, Thrive Men’s Gatherings, and LifeGroups.
We are looking for dependable people looking to joyfully serve in various ways. These volunteers serve at our Momentum and Thrive Men’s Gatherings. This would include set up or take down, serving food and drinks, clean up in the kitchen, and assisting at the registration table or as facility host.
Women’s Ministry:
Women’s Ministry aims to empower all women of Emmanuel through meaningful spaces aimed to root their faith in Christ, foster Spirit-filled lives, and learning to bear fruit as they walk through the daily mission of their homes, neighbourhoods, and communities.
We are always looking for dependable women who are excited to serve the women of our church and reach others in our community. There are many opportunities to serve! Some examples include event set-up and take-down, kitchen assistance, greeting women who are attending events, and leading LifeGroups.
LifeGroups:
At Emmanuel, the purpose of a LifeGroup is to develop mature Christ-followers by connecting people to God and each other. The LifeGroup defines four main actions which are: pray, reach, care, and empower.
LifeGroups is looking for a follower of Christ who has leadership qualities such as: being responsible with time management, having the capacity to care for others and to have fully completed training sessions alongside their LifeGroup Coach. The volunteer LifeGroup leader will connect with group members between gatherings, will allow 1-3 hours a week for preparation, and will commit to participate in Leadership Development opportunities throughout the year.
