Volunteer

Volunteering on a team is one of the quickest and easiest ways to begin getting to know people at Emmanuel.

There’s a spot for everyone, no matter what your skill or passion. And not only is it rewarding to see your service help other people, but it’s also just fun!

Check out our serving opportunities page for more information. If you are not sure of where you could serve, then let us know. We would love to have a conversation with you in order to get to know your gifts and talents!

Volunteers can serve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Sunday School:

Do you have a heart for children and a passion for sharing God’s love? Our Kids Ministry is looking for dedicated volunteers to help guide and inspire the next generation. Whether you’re gifted in teaching, storytelling, crafts, or simply love connecting with kids, there’s a place for you on our team! The Sunday morning kids program runs during both the 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM Sunday service for children ages 3 – grade 5.

Why Serve?

  • Make a lasting impact on young lives.
  • Grow in your faith as you serve others.
  • Be a part of a vibrant community of volunteers.

Your Time + Your Heart = A Changed Life

We can’t wait to serve alongside you!

Nursery Care:

The nursery here at Emmanuel provides care for kids ages 0 – 36 months old each service. Children will be cared for while you enjoy the service. Nursery volunteers will be scheduled on a one-month rotation to interact and play with kids during the worship service. They need to enjoy young kids and feel comfortable working together with a team.

Equips men to take on their God-given responsibility in their home, church, and community by mentoring them into a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. We do this through inclusive environments like Momentum, Thrive Men’s Gatherings, and LifeGroups.

We are looking for dependable people looking to joyfully serve in various ways. These volunteers serve at our Momentum and Thrive Men’s Gatherings. This would include set up or take down, serving food and drinks, clean up in the kitchen, and assisting at the registration table or as facility host.

Women’s Ministry aims to empower all women of Emmanuel through meaningful spaces aimed to root their faith in Christ, foster Spirit-filled lives, and learning to bear fruit as they walk through the daily mission of their homes, neighbourhoods, and communities.

Some examples include event set-up and take-down, kitchen assistance, greeting women who are attending events, and leading LifeGroups.
