Sunday mornings at Emmanuel are a time for our community to come together for worship and learning from God’s Word. Our services, lasting about 70 minutes, aim to reflect our vision: Together we make it easy for anyone to discover the real Jesus. Join us at 9:30 am or 11:15 am, in person or online, and see what you can expect when you join us this Sunday!

Our entire Sunday morning experience is a time of worship, including building community. That’s why we have The Well (our cozy coffee shop), free coffee in our community hub, and a Welcome Centre with friendly team members ready to assist you. Frequently Asked Questions

A typical worship service lasts 70 minutes. Every service contains both traditional and contemporary worship styles as well biblical preaching for about 25 minutes. Some services feature special elements such as baptisms, child dedications, and communion (where we share bread and juice to signify the last supper Jesus had before he died).

We do like it on the louder side, however our Production Team ensures the volume is always at a safe level. You can anticipate an average of 83 decibels anywhere in the auditorium during our contemporary worship.

We dress casual at Emmanuel — whatever makes you comfortable! Bonus points from Pastor Rob if you wear a KC Chiefs jersey (he’s making me write this right now…)

We offer a wide range of support for those with special needs or disabilities.

  • Our parking lot has designated zones for those with a “Disabled Parking Permit”.
  • Our church is fully wheelchair accessible (please note that currently our 4 West doors do not have automatic function).
  • Our bathrooms on the main floor are wheelchair-friendly.
  • There are designated wheelchair zones in our auditorium on the main floor.
  • We have assigned seating for those with service animals.
  • We have assigned seating for those sensitive to strong scents.
  • For those who are hearing impaired, we offer devices to help amplify the sound.
  • For those who are visually impaired and have a tablet, contact us and we can send you the song lyrics and teaching slides ahead of time so you can follow along!

If you have your own Bible, we always encourage you to bring it (if you need one, come chat with us)! You are also welcome to use your personal, electronic devices (ie. phones, tablets).

We have complimentary coffee and tea which you will find in our open community area called “The Hub”. We also have a café called “The Well” where you can purchase specialty coffees and snacks. You are welcome to bring these snacks and drinks into our auditorium during the service.

Yes, our services are age-appropriate for all audiences, though they aren’t tailored to entertain children. We have reserved seating for families with small children near the back of the auditorium on the main floor where we offer extra lighting.

From September to June, our Kids Ministries team offers Sunday School for kids ages 3 to grade 5 during both of our service times.

Our nursery is open year-round in both services for kids ages 0 – 36 months.
